Williams International (Booth No. 5346) is expanding its on-the-wing hot section inspections (check 3) program on installed FJ44-1A engines to other FJ44 engine models.

Williams began offering the program at three Cessna Citation service centers (Orlando; Sacramento, Calif.; and Wichita) earlier this year and will expand it to Europe next year.  The on-the-wing inspections cut the typical down time from five days to two shifts, according to Frank Smith, vice president of product support for Williams.

The inspections are performed by Williams’ “rapid response teams.”

Operators who have a hot section coming due and are interested in this option may contact one of these service centers or Williams International product support to schedule the work.

The company also recently launched new customer service and support Web sites. Operators can go directly to product support.custhelp.com and create an account, or they can reach the site via the “questions/inquiries” link on Williams’ regular product support Web site.
