Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Daher deliveries in 2023 inched up by one unit over 2022’s total to 74, the company reported today. At the same time, last year’s orders matched the previous year’s record tally of 100. This pushed its aircraft backlog into early 2025.
The TBM family led deliveries with a total of 56 split between Model 960 and 910. The TBM 960 was the predominant model delivered, and the largest percentage was delivered into the North American market. Forty-three went to the U.S. and another two to Canada. Three TBMs were shipped to Latin American customers and another seven to Europe. The final model went to a customer in Central Asia.
Meanwhile, some 18 Kodiak 100s and 900s were handed over in 2023. North America also was the leading market for these aircraft, customers of which represented a mix of private owners and multi-mission operators and included North Carolina Forest Service’s Aviation Division as a new Kodiak operator.
“These figures reflect the market’s stabilization as we continue to see a strong demand for TBM and Kodiak aircraft, although challenges persist in affecting our industry—including employment and supply chain issues,” said Nicolas Chabbert, senior v-p of Daher’s aircraft division. “There have been efforts made to address these difficulties and improve the situation. We are seeing the results of our solutions in the employment field through internal training and the attraction of new talent. For the supply chain, the importance of delivering on time will enable us to continue seeking opportunities in a strong market.”
As of the end of last year, 1,187 TBMs and 339 Kodiaks had been delivered worldwide and the fleet had accumulated nearly three million flight hours.
