Eclipse, Advent Launch eABS Promotion for E500s
Offer is limited to the first 10 Eclipse 500 owners that sign a maintenance request form and schedule their aircraft for the upgrade.

One Aviation subsidiary Eclipse Aerospace has partnered with Advent Aircraft Systems to launch a limited-time promotion of the Advent eABS anti-skid brake system (ABS) for the Eclipse 500 with the IFMS 2.08 software package. Under the promotion, Eclipse will provide the system for $65,000, including installation and training, which is a nearly $15,000 discount from the list price.

The offer is limited to the first 10 Eclipse 500 owners who sign a maintenance request form and schedule their aircraft for the upgrade, with a wait list kept in case of any cancellations. These Eclipse owners must also order the Advent system by March 30 and have it installed by June 29. The aircraft must have IFMS 2.08 software or include the software upgrade at the time of eABS installation at an additional charge. Owners should allow up to 10 working days of downtime for the upgrade, the companies said.

The Advent eABS is an add-on to the OEM braking system that provides the Eclipse 500 with maximum brake torque available for the given conditions, without damaging tires/wheels or reducing steering effectiveness. According to Advent, eABS also improves braking action on contaminated runways. The eABS system is also STC’d for the Pilatus PC-12 and Beechcraft King Air B300/300/B200 series.
