Announcing the Top Flight Awards Turboprop Category Winner

AIN is proud to announce the winner of the 2020 Top Flight Awards Turboprop category: the Pilatus PC-12 NGX.

The latest iteration of the versatile PC-12 features a host of updates including single-lever power control, higher cruise speed, optional autothrottle, and a restyled and quieter passenger cabin. The NGX’s windows have been reshaped and enlarged by 10 percent, and redesigned executive seats provide more comfort and flexibility.

The PC-12 has long combined go-anywhere utility with creature comforts that include a large, pressurized cabin, near 300-knot speed, and more than five hours of endurance. Up front is the new Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6E-67XP, which features full digital flight envelope protection, precise engine control, and reduced pilot workload.

The NGX’s Advanced Cockpit Environment flight deck is built around Honeywell’s Epic 2.0 touchscreen-controlled avionics suite. Pilatus has equipped the PC-12 NGX with significant updates and upgrades that will ensure that it is a strong entry in the single-engine turboprop market for years to come.
