Hagerty Jet Group—a Savannah, Georgia-based aircraft brokerage that specializes in preowned Gulfstreams—said 2025 was one of the best sales years for Gulfstream business jets. In all, 195 Gulfstream G650s, G550s, G600s, G500s, G450s, and G280s were sold across the global market last year. This compares with 170 and 132 Gulfstream transactions in 2024 and 2023, respectively.
The top-selling preowned Gulfstream model was once again the G550, with 76 sales logged last year, up from 64 and 50 transactions in 2024 and 2023, respectively. Supply for this model “was very consistent with 35 to 40 aircraft for sale at any given time, representing 6% of the fleet,” it said, adding that demand remains strong for 2012 and newer models with forward-galley configurations.
According to Hagerty Jet, the G600 had the lowest preowned inventory level of the six newer-model Gulfstreams it focuses on, with supply at just 1.5% of the fleet for sale. “We predicted more preowned G600s coming to market when the G700s started delivering, but so far we haven’t seen any significant increase of supply on any models,” the company said.
Meanwhile, it said the G650 market made a huge comeback last year. “Supply hit an all-time high in Q2 2025 with 31 aircraft for sale. G650 buyers descended onto the market in late Q2. Supply plummeted to only six aircraft for sale by the end of the year,” Hagerty Jet said. “We see continued demand for the G650, which means prices are likely to remain firm with very low supply through 2026. Transactions for G650s hit a new record with nearly 50 preowned sales, which is double what we normally see.”
The G450 market gained some momentum late in the year, with 12 transactions completed in the fourth quarter, it said. However, sales were slow through the first three quarters and prices softened, which attracted buyers in late 2025.
Hagerty also noted that no preowned G700s or G800s have yet been advertised for sale in the secondary market.
