The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has issued Part 145 maintenance approval to ExecuJet Haite’s facility at Beijing Daxing International Airport (ZBAD). Line and base maintenance work on Embraer, Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, and Bombardier business jets are included in the approval.
ExecuJet Haite’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility at Daxing opened in August through a partnership with Capital Airport Holding Business Aviation Management, which operates an FBO at the site. Since 2010, the company has had an MRO facility at Tianjin Binhai International Airport (ZBTJ), which is around a 90-minute drive from Daxing.
The Tianjin base operates approved service centers for Dassault and Embraer, as well as an authorized warranty facility for Gulfstream. Daxing is 34 miles from the center of Beijing, and the airport offers more space for business aircraft operations than the main gateway Beijing Capital International Airport (ZBAA).
Spanning 5,000 sq m (53,800 sq ft), the Daxing MRO includes a large air-conditioned and heated hangar, as well as offices and workshops. The hangar can accommodate eight midsize or large business aircraft at the same time. More than 300,000 square meters of space is available for business aviation users, including an FBO building, hangars, and a ramp.
“Receiving the CAAC approval for our Daxing facility is a significant milestone for ExecuJet Haite, allowing us to expand our support and better meet the needs of operators throughout the entire region in a world-class maintenance facility located at Beijing Daxing International Airport,” said Paul Desgrosseilliers, general manager of ExecuJet Haite.
The ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China group was established in December 2010 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Sichuan-based Haite Group, which has multiple aviation interests. In China, the MRO services operate as a franchise of ExecuJet MRO Services, which were previously part of the ExecuJet Aviation group (part of Luxaviation), until the company was acquired by Dassault Aviation in 2016.
