Garmin Connext Now Compatible with FltPlan Go App
Now allows pilots to wirelessly transmit a flight plan from FltPlan Go to compatible Garmin avionics.

Garmin’s Connext ecosystem can now link up with the FltPlan Go iOS and Android apps, allowing pilots to wirelessly transmit a flight plan from FltPlan Go to compatible Garmin avionics, which includes the Flight Stream 510/210/1102, GTX 345 series, and GDL 88/84, 69, 52 and 39/39 3D series. FltPlan Go users can also wirelessly receive and display aviation weather products such as Flight Information Service-Broadcast (FIS-B), as well as ADS-B traffic, GPS position data, and back-up attitude information from these Garmin products.

“Through this collaboration, FltPlan customers gain access to even more connectivity options that significantly enhance their flight planning and in-flight experiences,” said Garmin vice president of aviation sales and marketing Carl Wolf. “With this strategic relationship, we’re not only expanding the Connext ecosystem, but also giving aircraft owners and operators even more options when pursuing avionics upgrades that offer a connected environment in the cockpit, which further aid in the decision making process.”

In addition, flight plans can also be transferred from Fltplan Go to the Garmin Pilot application for iOS and Android users, Garmin said.
