Genesys Aerosystems Displays Tapped for UH-60 Upgrade
The system will also utilize an advanced integrated audio/radio management capability.

Avionics manufacturer Genesys Aerosystems (Booth C2130) has partnered with developmental flight-test company XP services to develop a four-EFIS-display integrated cockpit solution for the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk upgrade program. It will feature Genesys high-resolution LCD IDU-680 displays, depicting 3D synthetic vision, highway-in-the-sky, enhanced HTAWS, integrated FMS, and hover vector, among others.

The system will also use an advanced integrated audio/radio management capability, as well as the company’s open architecture system integration symbology (Oasis) to offer customized engine indication and crew alerting system (EICAS) specific to the Black Hawk.

“The UH-60 is a rugged and reliable platform for military and special mission operators, but it needed an EFIS display that shared those same qualities,” said XP president Rod Allison. “The Genesys system is well suited for this aircraft, and performed flawlessly on the cross-country flight to Heli-Expo 2018.”

Arista Aviation is the first company to choose the integration as an upgrade for their customers. It is on display this week at Heli-Expo 2018 in the company’s UH-60 (Static C4).
