Gogo Business Aviation Expands Data Network in Canada
The expansion adds an hour of air-to-ground connectivity on the eastern seaboard of North America and in central Canada.

Gogo Business Aviation expanded its air-to-ground data network coverage on the eastern seaboard of North America and in central Canada, the company announced last week. The expansion adds an hour of air-to-ground in-flight connectivity in both locations for business aircraft, the company said.

The East Coast expansion fills in an area between Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Gander, Newfoundland for 450 nautical miles of new coverage. In central Canada the expansion covers northern Alberta and Saskatchewan and central Manitoba, providing additional connectivity for flights crossing the polar cap into Canada.

According to Sergio Aguirre, senior vice president of product management and business development for Gogo, “The benefit of an additional hour of air-to-ground connectivity lets our customers get more done or enjoy an additional hour of entertainment during a flight without the need to connect to other more expensive in-flight connectivity and entertainment.”
