Canada-based Flying Colours has announced its first Saudi-registered aircraft maintenance project. Arriving early next year, the Challenger 604 will undergo a variety of major inspections, service bulletins and interior refurbishment at Flying Colours’ Peterborough, Ontario facility.

The MRO received approvals from the Riyadh-based General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in September and is now permitted to carry out continuous airworthiness and line maintenance. The MRO’s U.S. subsidiary, JetCorp Technical Services, also received GACA approval.

The order follows its recent appointment by Bombardier as a Learjet and Challenger authorized service facility. Flying Colours now offers maintenance and is a supplier of green completions, aircraft refurbishments, avionics installations and implementations of onboard connectivity solutions for Bombardier Challengers, Global Expresses and Learjets as well as Dassault Falcons.
