Northrop Grumman (Stand 2321) announced here at EBACE that Cessna has chosen its navigation systems for the Citation Latitude business jet. One selection is the LCR-100 attitude and heading reference system, which uses both inertial navigation and GPS information.
The enhanced version, the LCR-100N Hybrid Navigator, is also being offered to Latitude buyers. The “N” incorporates performance improvements, including “increased accuracy of inertial measurement and enhanced use of GPS data.” It will help aircraft operators take advantage of the planned Single European Sky (and U.S. NextGen) modernized air traffic management systems, according to Northrop Grumman.
The LCR-100N has also previously been selected to equip the Citation Ten.
