Aircraft cabin furniture supplier JCB Aero (Booth No. 1029) is planning to become a full-blown refurbishing center in the coming months. Almost 100,000 sq ft of new hangar, production facility and offices are being built at JCB’s Auch headquarters in southwest France. A $15 million investment, they are supposed to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.

“We offer clean-sheet design for aircraft cabins by using external designers,” president Jean-Claude Beaudet told AIN.

He insisted the company is used “to accommodating VIP cabin requirements, even crazy ones.” JCB Aero claims to have highly skilled craftsmen and the right competencies in integrating electric, air and water systems in cabins.
JCB is targeting the full spectrum of business jets, from light jets to bizliners. “To be profitable, we’ll need to refurbish three large aircraft and a few smaller ones every year,” Beaudet said. Workforce, currently at 200 (including 30 temps) is expected to reach 400 within three years.
