FlightSafety International (Booth No. 1643) plans to begin offering Dassault Falcon 7X training at its Dallas/Fort Worth Learning Center, starting in January 2011.

The syllabus will include comprehensive training programs, full-flight simulator time and the Matrix integrated system. It will offer an enhanced flight visual system, head-up guidance, emergency vision assurance and electronic flight bag.

The course will also be compatible with the Phase II avionics software upgrades and feature FlightSafety’s electronic motion and control-loading technology and new Vital X visual system.

The simulator will be qualified to Level D and approved
by the FAA, Transport Canada, Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organization, EASA and the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

In South Africa, FlightSafety has gained approval for its Hawker 1900D and Bombardier 8 100/Q300 flight simulators at the company’s learning center in Johannesburg.

FlightSafety has also announced it will build a new flight simulation equipment design, manufacturing and support facility in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
The new facility “will enable us to further increase the efficiency of our manufacturing processes, augment our production capacity and provide our teammates in Broken Arrow with a productive work environment,” said president and CEO Bruce Whitman.

Construction of the facility is scheduled to begin this spring and is expected to be completed in 2011. The building will include a dedicated area for engineering, component manufacturing, final assembly, and shipping and receiving.
From its headquarters at La Guardia Airport in New York, Flight Safety has announced certification of its training programs by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Mexico.
