Global communications firm Viasat is hosting a leadership panel this week in partnership with Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), spotlighting women’s influence in the aviation industry. Titled “Harmony in Leadership: Navigating Vision, Values, and Impact,” the panel will take place during AIX 2025 on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Hamburg Messe convention center.

“Once again, we are excited to partner with Viasat to host this crucial conversation at AIX 2025,” said AIX event director Archana Dharni. “This panel will not only showcase the remarkable contributions of women in aviation leadership, but also seek to inspire a collaborative approach to driving innovation and positive change within the industry. Just like the rest of AIX, we aim to highlight diverse perspectives; we aim to encourage a more inclusive and forward-thinking aviation sector.”

Moderated by Viasat commercial services v-p of marketing Michelle Munoz-Talcott, the discussion will bring together prominent voices from across the aviation landscape. Panelists include Kara Nishida of Delta Air Lines, Mervi Moldakainen of Finnair, and Suzanne d’Arnault of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

The one-hour event will explore how leadership rooted in vision, values, and strategic impact can help guide the aviation sector through emerging challenges and opportunities. Topics will span boardroom dynamics, industry hurdles, and the role of transformative technologies. The luncheon also offers a networking opportunity and is open to all AIX badge holders with advance registration.
