ACC Columbia Jet Service, formerly known as Aviation Center Cologne, is at EBACE (Booth No. 290) promoting its maintenance capability. The German company also has a new facility at Hannover Airport as a result of its recent merger with Columbia Jet Service.

The group, which has offered Bombardier Challenger, Learjet series and Cessna Citation series maintenance, has added to its capabilities to include the Gulfstream G100, G150 and G200, as well as the Dassault Falcon 2000EX. An ACC spokesman said it is in the process of adding the Challenger 850 and Global Express to its maintenance portfolio later this year.

ACC also is showcasing its supplemental type certificate for the Aircell SwiftBroadband system and a GSM in-flight cellphone system. The Aircell system, which is available for installation in numerous aircraft types, is an Inmarsat satellite-based solution that allows the use of private laptops to securely log on to corporate networks, transfer data and send and receive e-mail. It can also be used to surf the Internet or to place phone calls.

In addition to its Part 145 maintenance certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency, ACC Columbia Jet Service is also approved as a Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization.
