Richard Gray’s Power Company (RGPC) of New Orleans has introduced RGPC ClearSky, “the first power management system designed specifically for audio/video equipment on private aircraft.” SkyTheater, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based specialist in highly customized cabin entertainment systems, is the exclusive integrator of ClearSky.
According to RGPC president Rick Komendera, existing aircraft power supply sources are not designed to feed today’s sensitive and demanding audio/video equipment. ClearSky, he explained, is designed to eliminate this performance issue.
Six Hubbell outlets provide comprehensive surge protection, remove from the system “noise” that can negatively affect audio and video, and deliver a constant supply of on-demand power. SkyTheater president Gregg Launer said the advantages of the system are brighter and more lifelike colors as well as deeper levels of bass, “whether it’s music or a movie soundtrack.”
ClearSky meets Canadian LSTC and FAA approval standards.
