Thales Avionics North America announced Tuesday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding to team with Audio International of Little Rock, Ark., in offering a complete cabin management system including inflight entertainment, cabin communications and environmental controls.

Jean-Pierre Mortreux, president and CEO of Thales North America, told a Tuesday press conference that the integrated system will provide digital multi-media passenger communications inside and outside the cabin, and inflight entertainment ranging from live TV to maps, games and library access. It will also manage and control temperature, lighting, in-seat power and other cabin-related functions.
