There’s a new domain name on the Internet: dot-areo. Gulf Coast Avionics Corp. has announced the launch of www.GCA.aero, a departure from the mob of dot-coms and one that simplifies access to the company’s site serving business and general aviation. Dot-aero is the domain of aviation, a new name reserved exclusively for the aviation community. It enables organizations and individuals to reserve and purchase their own Web and e-mail addresses and help to strengthen aviation’s presence on the Internet.
