Following the successful introduction last year of the three-inch 4300 Lifesaver backup attitude indicator, Mid-Continent Instruments has gone one step better by unveiling an even smaller product, the two-inch 4200 series indicator.

Designed specifically for the Cessna Citation Mustang cockpit, the Series 4200 electric mini-gyro will include LED lighting and have a 2,500-hour mean time between failures (MTBF). Unlike the larger 4300 attitude indicator, the 4200 does not include a built-in backup battery. According to the manufacturer, list price for the Model 4200 attitude indicator is $3,839.
