Icare, the training center for French regional airline BritAir, has selected Exailâs EASA-approved FTD2/FNPT II simulator for training its customersâ A320 pilots. The simulator will be delivered and receive its certification in July.
âThis flight simulator is the turnkey solution weâve been looking for in order to deliver our customers the high-quality training they deserve in terms of type rating, multi-crew coordination, and recurrent training,â explained Phillipe Goetz, CEO of Icare. âIt will be a perfect complement to our future Level D full-flight simulator, which is due to be certified before year-end.â
Exailâs clients include airlines, air traffic organizations, the French Ăcole National dâAviation Civile, and Eurocontrol. More recently, Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance selected Icare to design and deliver a full flight simulator for the French ArmĂ©e de l'Air et de l'Espace aircrew flying the E-3F AWACS.
âWe are convinced that this state-of-the-art training simulator, designed according to the most stringent standards and regulations, will support Icareâs growth throughout the years and bring increased operational safety and efficiency to their customers,â said Exail CEO Dominique Giannoni.
