This Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA)&nbsp;from EASA&nbsp;establishes initial and continuing airworthiness provisions under Part 21 for certifying unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The draft proposals include new and amended acceptable&nbsp;means of compliance and guidance materials&nbsp;associated with the applicable regulatory framework. The NPA&nbsp;also&nbsp;addresses new operational and mobility concepts based on innovative technologies and&nbsp;aims to&nbsp;promote&nbsp;UAS&nbsp;acceptance by European citizens.&nbsp;Comments on these proposals are due by Dec. 4, 2024.
