Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2025—set for April 8 to 10 in Hamburg, Germany—will bring together industry leaders and innovators to showcase the latest advancements in aircraft interiors, inflight entertainment, and connectivity. This year’s event will see the introduction of more than a dozen new exhibitors alongside established names such as Collins Aerospace, Panasonic Avionics, and Airbus. With a focus on sustainability, passenger comfort, and technological advancements, AIX 2025 aims to shape the future of air travel.

AIX event director Archana Dharni emphasized the significance of this year’s exhibition: “AIX has always been a vital platform for the aircraft interiors industry to connect, collaborate, and propel itself forward. This year, we’re already thrilled to welcome over a dozen new exhibitors who bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the table. Their presence underscores the dynamism of our industry and AIX’s role as a catalyst for progress.”

Among the key highlights of the event will be the latest in inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) solutions. Companies such as Panasonic Avionics, Thales, and Viasat will demonstrate innovations in high-definition displays, multi-orbit connectivity, and AI-powered personalization. Rosen Aviation will unveil its 1-by-3 Digital Skylight configuration, featuring three 65-inch curved OLED displays, while AirFi will showcase its lightweight LEO connectivity system for enhanced onboard retail experiences.

In addition to technology advancements, AIX 2025 will highlight developments in seating, lighting, and cabin layouts aimed at improving the passenger experience. Yokohama Aerospace America plans to introduce an accessibility-focused lavatory module for Boeing 737, while Changzhou Gas Spring will present ergonomic seating solutions. Sustainability remains a priority, with exhibitors showcasing lightweight materials and eco-friendly designs to reduce aviation’s environmental footprint.

A newly commissioned survey by AIX has also shed light on the future of luxury air travel in the UAE, revealing strong demand for eVTOL aircraft among high-net-worth individuals. The findings indicate a desire for personalized interiors, cultural design influences, and high-tech entertainment systems, underscoring the evolving expectations of premium travelers.

AIX 2025 will be co-located with the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) and will follow the Passenger Experience Conference on April 7. The event will take place at the Hamburg Messe conference center, with attendees gaining access to both AIX and WTCE throughout the three days.
