AEA's Newest Guide Details FAA Rebate Program
AEA will distribute thousands of free copies of the guide during EAA AirVenture.

The Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) is distributing thousands of free copies of its newly released 2016/2017 edition of the Pilot’s Guide to Avionics during this week’s EAA AirVenture. The 14th edition of the guide, to be distributed at AEA's AirVenture booth (No. 2035/2036 in Hangar B), is updated with answers to frequently asked questions about the FAA’s recently announced ADS-B Rebate program that is scheduled to begin in September. In addition, new products for 2016 are covered, as are a range of issues, from airports that add IFR capabilities, to panel upgrade planning to updates on audio control panels and numerous aspects of ADS-B.

The guide provides information on nearly 1,300 AEA member companies in more than 40 countries, specializing in maintenance, repair and installation of avionics and electronics system. It also includes manufacturers, distributors, engineers, consultants and technical schools and universities.

Copies also may be requested online while supplies last.
