CAE will provide U.S. Navy crews with classroom and simulator training for the UC-12 transport under a contract award announced on Wednesday. The UC-12 is a militarized variant of the Beechcraft King Air and is used by the U.S. Navy for personnel and cargo transport, medevac, and humanitarian assistance. The service branch has the UC-12B/F/M versions of the King Air B200 in service, as well as the UC-12W derivative of the King Air 350.

The company will deliver initial and refresher training courses for the pilots and flight officers at its centers in Dothan, Alabama; Dallas, Texas; and Morristown, New Jersey. King Air 200 Pro Line 21 cockpit training will be conducted at the Dothan center, while non-Pro Line King Air 200 training will be conducted at the Dallas facility. Training for aircrews on the King Air 350 Pro Line 21 and Fusion cockpits will be done at the Morristown center.
