Sporty’s 2026 Christmas ornament featuring the Pilatus PC-12 arrives as the Swiss-designed turboprop single marks 35 years since its first flight in 1991. This year has also been a busy one for the venerable model.

The FAA and EASA both certified Garmin’s Autoland system on the PC-12 Pro in September, making the emergency function standard equipment on the latest variant, which carries the G3000 Prime flight deck. In October, Boise-based Western Aircraft became the first authorized Pilatus sales center to deliver 300 new-production PC-12s, handing over S/N 3107, a Pro model, at a ceremony that doubled as its 30th anniversary as a Pilatus center.

Pilatus built the single-engine PC-12 for short- and unimproved-field performance, and that ability to work from remote airstrips underpins missions ranging from executive transport and cargo hauling to lifesaving operations worldwide. Sporty’s credits the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6-powered airplane with a reputation for versatility and reliability.

The limited-edition crystal piece measures 3 inches high, 2 inches wide, and 0.5 inches deep. The ornament continues an annual Sporty’s series the company presents as a holiday tradition for the aviation community, with the crystal piece intended as a collectible keepsake for pilots and aviation enthusiasts, or as a client gift for FBOs and other aviation businesses.
