Blade is again flying NBAA-BACE attendees by helicopter between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Aircraft Connection static display at Henderson Executive Airport (KHND), while parent company Joby Aviation uses the show to promote the electric air taxis it plans to add to Blade’s network.
Rides on the shuttle cost $195 for NBAA members and $245 for nonmembers during the show, which runs October 20 to 22. Those prices are unchanged from last year, when Blade returned to the show under Joby ownership. NBAA said the service has sold out in previous years.
“Our service between the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Airport highlights the value of vertical transportation by providing attendees with a fast, reliable alternative to ground congestion,” said Blade founder and CEO Rob Wiesenthal. “NBAA attendees will not only enjoy Blade’s urban air mobility services today using conventional rotorcraft but will also see the quiet and emission-free future with Joby’s display at the NBAA Aircraft Connection,” he added, referring to the show’s static display.
Representatives from Joby are available at Blade’s check-in area to discuss its plans to run electric air taxis on Blade routes. The Santa Cruz, California-based company is also exhibiting in the convention center’s West Hall.
Joby bought New York-based Blade’s passenger business in August 2025, and Blade now accounts for nearly all of Joby’s revenue: $36.2 million of the $38.6 million it reported for the second quarter. Joby cited Blade’s performance when it raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to between $115 million and $125 million.
Blade’s pitch to business travelers extends beyond helicopter shuttles. On November 19, Blade will restart BladeOne, a seasonal service that sells individual seats on jet flights linking Westchester County Airport (KHPN) north of New York City with Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (KOPF) and President Donald J. Trump International Airport (KDJT) in West Palm Beach, Florida.
USAC Airways 695, a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based semiprivate jet operator Aero, will fly the service through May 2, 2027, using an airliner refitted with 16 seats. Wiesenthal describes BladeOne as filling the gap between a $1,000 first-class ticket and a $25,000 private jet charter.
