Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Wheels Up Experience has completed a brand integration of Air Partner’s private jet and group charter services and extended a concierge-level customer engagement model to its UK operations.
Under the integration, Air Partner services in the UK, as well as in other locations around the globe, will operate as Wheels Up. Air Partner Cargo, however, will continue under its existing name, maintaining its focus on global shipping and courier services.
The transition follows Wheels Up’s purchase of Air Partner <a href="https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2022-04-01/wheels-completes-air-partner-acquisition">in 2022</a> under a deal valued at about $109 million. That acquisition brought to Wheels Up a UK-based aviation services group with operations spanning 18 locations and four continents.
While Air Partner initially maintained its previous identity, Wheels Up began the global integration in the U.S. earlier this year and has now extended globally to establish a unified identity across its markets.
As part of this, Wheels Up is now using its concierge customer engagement approach, with dedicated sales and services teams from inquiry through trip delivery and follow-up support, in the UK. &nbsp;
“This is an important milestone for Wheels Up and for our customers,” said Wheels Up chief marketing officer Kristen Lauria. “Bringing our UK and the rest of the world private jet and group charter services under the Wheels Up brand makes it easier for customers, wherever they are in the world, to access our full breadth of aviation solutions through a single, trusted relationship. It also allows us to build on more than 65 years of Air Partner heritage as a core strength of the Wheels Up platform.”
The integration provides for more consistency across regions and jet types, with seamless access to the full Wheels Up portfolio, the company added.
“For our customers throughout the world, this means access to the same deep expertise they have relied on for decades, now backed by the full scale, fleet, and technology of Wheels Up,” said Wheels Up chief sales officer and former Air Partner CEO Mark Briffa.
