A lifelong aviation enthusiast who joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in 2007, Curt came to&nbsp;the publication&nbsp;from the broadcast industry where he was a national science and technology television reporter and producer. He writes on the FBO field, aviation finance, and sustainable aviation and occasionally contributes to&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;sister publication&nbsp;Business Jet Traveler. Curt was a member of the AINtv reporting staff that won the 2008 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award for Best Airshow Daily. That same year, he was a finalist for another AJOYA award. He earned an AJOYA for Best Business Aviation Submission in 2018 and was a finalist in that category in 2021. He received the National Air Transportation Association’s&nbsp; Aviation Journalist Award in 2012 and won a Pegasus Sapphire Business Aviation Award for outstanding journalism in 2021.
Before joining AIN, Curt worked with&nbsp;Consumer Reports’ television division, CRTV, and for several local television news staffs. An honors graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, he earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Boston University in 1995. Curt lives in New York State with his wife and two young sons.

NBAA has rescheduled its 2026 White Plains Regional Forum due to pending runway construction at Westchester County Airport (KHPN).&nbsp;The annual Northeast business aviation showcase, originally slated to take place on June 3, has been moved to its new date of May 20.
For the past several years, the regional show has been held in and around the 52,000-sq-ft hangar at the Million Air FBO at KHPN, but FAA officials notified airport officials of plans for upcoming runway construction work as part of an agency grant. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, which is overseeing the project, will begin the project in the second quarter.
NBAA’s regional events typically attract hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of attendees. At the White Plains event, an aircraft static display featuring dozens of aircraft is set up on the Million Air ramp, just steps away from the exhibit hall.
“Our thanks to the airport officials who worked to update our plans for the forum and ensure that it will proceed in a smooth and coordinated manner,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “We also look forward to continuing our longstanding relationship with the team at Million Air’s White Plains FBO facility, and we appreciate their flexibility in working with us to produce the forum on the event’s new date.”
