ExecuJet is upgrading the lounge of its FBO at Munich International Airport (EDDM) this year to bolster its presence in Germany. The Europe-based business aviation services group announced the upgrade this week at Aero Friedrichshafen. It is also highlighting its facility at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB), where it refurbished the general aviation terminal in 2023.
Part of the Luxaviation group, the company is preparing for a busy few weeks during which it will support VIP trips for three major UEFA soccer matches being staged in Munich between May 31 and June 8: the Champions League final and both the Nations League semi-final and final. During the Berlin final of the UEFA European Championship tournament in July 2024, ExecuJet handled 122 aircraft movements in just two days.
“Our team excels in dynamic environments,” said ExecuJet Germany managing director Ronny Stechert. “We can quickly deploy staff between Munich and Berlin to support major events like sporting finals or the Oktoberfest. This agility is what sets us apart and makes us a reliable partner for operators and travelers alike.”
“Germany is one of our most dynamic and mature markets in European business aviation,” said Luxaviation Group CEO Patrick Hansen. “Our focus is on increasing our proximity to clients, enhancing quality service, and leveraging the outstanding capabilities of our Berlin and Munich FBOs.”
