Greek helicopter operator Hoper is increasing its program of scheduled flights to 15 popular tourist destinations, including several islands that are only otherwise accessible by sea ferries. Building on the services launched in 2024, the Athens-based company this week announced a network of partnerships with travel agents, booking platforms, and hotel operators to expand its client base.
Passengers can book individual seats on Hoper’s fleet of five Robinson R66 and R44 helicopters, which can carry four and three people, respectively. With heliport bases in Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos, the 15 destinations currently served include Antiparos, Syros, Milos, Patmos, Ios, Porto Heli, and Anafi.
The number of scheduled flights varies between the destinations and according to seasonal demand, with Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos having the highest service frequencies. During the peak summer season, Hoper will operate more than 25 scheduled flights each day in the single-engine aircraft.
Announced by Hoper last week, the partnerships include tie-ups with luxury vacation groups such as Eclectic Greece and Embark Beyond, as well as resorts including Kalesma Mykonos and Verina Sifnos. The operator is also working with trip-booking platforms such as Ferryscanner and Viator.
