TAM Aviação Executivo is once again LABACE's largest exhibitor, showing nine Textron Aviation models and highlighting its portfolio of services. Those include its service centers in Jundiaí (SP), Goiânia (GO), and Belo Horizonte (MG); training options offered through a partnership with FlightSafety International; aircraft sales; charter services, hangarage, and domestic and international assistance at airports; and aircraft management and administration.

The models that TAM AE has on static display at LABACE 2023 are the Cessna Citation Latitude, Citation CJ3+, Citation M2, Beechcraft King Air 360 and 260, Grand Caravan EX, 206 Stationair, and Bell 429 and 505 helicopters.

Company president Leonardo Fiuza said the executive aviation sector has been booming for at least two years. “Our company, obviously, follows this positive wave," he noted. "We have aircraft scheduled for delivery in 18 or even 24 months and helicopters with deliveries between 12 and 18 months.” He highlighted the Citation line, emphasizing that it is the most successful family of jets in the world and is also a success in Brazil, where it has the largest market share with around 320 aircraft.

“Turboprop models are not far behind," Fiuza continued. "I would like to highlight the King Air 260 and King Air 360 models, which together account for 40 percent of our sales. They are essential aircraft, especially for the agribusiness sector, due to their ability to carry a lot of cargo, versatility, and the fact that they take off and land on short, unpaved runways.”

Charter was the first service TAM offered when it was founded in 1961, and according to Fiuza, demand has increased considerably since 2021. “Our service center has already achieved very positive rates," he said. "We perform maintenance services on more than 200 different aircraft per year. Also, we have on average tripled our retail parts sales.”

Besides focusing on providing a wide range of products, TAM AE stands out in training services. “In 2023, we are completing 20 years of representing FlightSafety. In 2022, growth in this service was around 15 percent.”

Given this scenario, Fiuza is excited to close 2023 with strong results and expectations are high for LABACE. “After all, LABACE is usually an important milestone in the realization of many deals and also the starting point for many others," he said. "The heated moment the sector is going through added to the work we have been doing over time, with the best offerings in executive aviation products and services in the country, leading us to believe that we will have another good edition of the event, with excellent business opportunities."
