Business aircraft maintenance plan provider JSSI has expanded its footprint in the industry with the purchase of SierraTrax, which offers aircraft maintenance tracking services.

Founded in 2017, SierraTrax developed a platform that offers a simple and affordable maintenance tracking solution to aircraft operators ranging from owner-pilots all the way up to Part 135 operators.

“The SierraTrax team has done an incredible job establishing a leadership position in a crowded maintenance tracking space in just five short years,” said JSSI chairman and CEO Neil Book. “Their remarkable rate of growth has been fueled by great technology, an easy-to-use interface, and a commitment to customer service, innovation, and data transparency.”

As a Textron Aviation-recommended maintenance tracking provider, SierraTrax sees extensive usage from Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker operators, and its focus has been on turboprops along with light and midsize private jets. As a result of the acquisition, it will now expand its range to include super-midsize and large-cabin jets, to better align with JSSI’s service portfolio which currently includes more than 2,000 business jets, turboprops, and helicopters.

“This exciting new partnership will enable the JSSI platform to deliver a full suite of highly complementary services to the market that will simplify and optimize the entire maintenance experience, allowing owners and operators to manage their aircraft more efficiently,” added Book.
