Online aircraft marketplace air.one and VREF have partnered to allow aircraft brokers, buyer’s' agents, and private buyers to purchase a VREF Verified Report for an aircraft directly from its listing. Air.one founder Andrew Leece likened the VREF product to a Carfax report, but for aircraft.
The VREF report, which is based on component status and installed equipment in the air.one listing for that specific aircraft, includes a comprehensive evaluation; title information; damage history; and direct operating cost estimate. Reports cost $150 each and are issued on the same business day if ordered before 3 p.m. ET.
“We are thrilled to be working with VREF, [and] we share the same vision for a more efficient aircraft market, developing technology and data solutions to empower aircraft buyers and sellers to make informed decisions,” said Leece. “The ability to purchase a specific aircraft valuation at the point of sale is a first in the aircraft market and we look forward to developing more initiatives for our customers with partners like VREF.”
“Collaborating with air.one made total sense as VREF is getting closer to the release of its all-new application. The layout, design, and alignment of corporate values of air.one will create a consumer experience that has never been offered before,” said VREF president Jason Zilberbrand.
