Raisbeck Engineering recently received STC approvals for its five-blade composite swept propeller and four-blade aluminum swept propeller. Both propellers have just been approved for the Beechcraft King Air 300/300LW models.
Previously, the four-blade aluminum swept propeller received approvals for the King Air 90, King Air 200 series, and King Air B300 series. Meanwhile, one of the benefits of the five-blade carbon composite swept propeller blades is an unlimited blade life. With reduced maintenance costs, the product still offers strength and durability offered by modern composites.
โWe are pleased to offer King Air 300/300LW operators the opportunity to upgrade their aircraft with added performance, efficiency and a quieter cabin with either one of these propeller systems,โ said Lynn Thomas, acting president of Raisbeck Engineering. โThese STCs are the result of many long hours from our engineers and their support team."
