Embraer handed over the first Asia Pacific-bound Phenom 300E to Australia tour package provider Northern Escape Collection. Announced during NBAA’s annual convention in October 2017, the 300E is an updated version of the light jet with a new cabin that includes Embraer-designed and -manufactured seats offering a choice of leathers and stitching. The seats incorporate extendable headrests with bolsters and extendable leg rests for improved ergonomics. The 300E also is equipped with a Lufthansa Technik nice HD cabin management and in-flight entertainment system. Embraer delivered the initial copy to a South African businessman in March following Brazilian ANAC, U.S. FAA and European Aviation Safety Agency approvals.
Northern Escape Collection provides guests access to its collection of private lodges in Queensland, including Orpheus Island Lodge, Daintree Ecolodge, and Mt. Mulligan Lodge. To be operated by Australian aircraft charter and management company Avcair, the Phenom 300E will provide transfer to the Northern Escape Collection, augmenting the company’s helicopter transport offerings.
With the most recent delivery, Embraer’s business jet fleet in the Asia-Pacific region has grown to more than 90 aircraft in more than 10 countries.
