The National Air Transportation Association will address a range of issues, from the status of FAA reauthorization to industry ethics and workforce shortages, during its 2018 Annual Meeting and Aviation Business Conference on June 12 to 14 in Washington, D.C.
The three-day event will include keynotes from TSA Administrator David Pekoske and FAA Associate Administrator for Aviation Safety Ali Bahrami, and feature a half-dozen association leaders who will provide their perspectives on the industry.
Attendees also will meet with members of Congress to discuss their concerns. The event will serve as a venue for the association’s annual awards luncheon, with honors to be presented to former Gulfstream president Larry Flynn and Aeroplex/Aerolease Group partner Randall Berg, along with a slate of other recipients.
The meeting and conference will include sessions covering environmental responsibility, safety management systems, the next generation of FBO leaders, airport lease dos and don’ts, working with U.S. Customs, maintenance hot topics, and changes in tax law, among others.
