North Sea Aviation To Be First FBO at Belgium Airfield
The North Sea Aviation Center is set to bring state-of-the-art FBO services to Ostend-Bruges International Airport for the first time.
When completed in March 2019, the North Sea Business Aviation Center will provide dedicated business aviation services at Belgium's Ostend-Bruges International Airport. With its location on the North Sea coast across from the UK, its operators believe it will make a low cost parking option for London-area aircraft.

North Sea Aviation Center (NCAS), a privately-owned aircraft services provider, is constructing an FBO at Belgium’s Ostend-Bruges International Airport (EBOS), which operates 24/7 and features a 10,500-foot/3,200-meter main runway. It will be the first FBO at the airport, as private aircraft there have thus far been processed through the airline terminal. The company is about to open a 32,300-sq-ft/3,000-sq-m heated hangar that can accommodate ultra-long-range business jets.

When completed next March, the €2.5 million ($2.9 million) business aviation facility will feature a three-story 9,690-sq-ft/900-sq-m terminal, with in-house customs and border control, a VIP lounge, concierge service, pilots lounge with four snooze rooms and shower facilities, a 20-seat conference room, office space for tenants, and a rooftop bar/terrace offering views of the airport, as well as an additional 17,200-sq-ft/1,600-sq-m hangar.

An adjacent upscale restaurant can provide catering from its industrial-grade kitchen. According to the company, EBOS is a 15-minute flight to London, making it an affordable alternate for aircraft parking.
