Signature Earns Two IS-BAH Nods, Adds TailWins Option
The BBA Aviation subsidiary's locations in London and Nice are the latest to achieve IS-BAH Stage I registration.

Signature Flight Support is increasing the participation of its international locations in the International Business Aviation Council’s International Standard for Business Aviation Handling (IS-BAH) with its London Luton and Nice, France FBOs achieving Stage I accreditation in the safety management system-based set of industry best practices. For both locations, the process included an external audit of safety protocols and procedures and the preparation began months in advance.

“We look forward to bringing more of our European locations through the accreditation process,” said Elvie Freeman, the BBA Aviation subsidiary’s managing director for EMEA.

In addition, at NBAA’s annual Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference this week in Long Beach, California, Signature announced it has expanded the payment offerings in its TailWins customer loyalty program, adding branded, reloadable Mastercard or Visa debit cards as redemption options. Program points earned are also redeemable in real time for cash-equivalent gift cards at more than 100 retail locations.

“The addition of the Visa and Mastercard debit cards to the over 100 redemption options provides our customers with new options of immediate, flexible rewards for their loyalty to the global Signature network,” said Maria Sastre, president and COO.

Also, the company has partnered with Air BP to offset the carbon emissions for the flights of participating visitors to the 2018 Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference. Emissions will be offset by BP Target Neutral, BP’s voluntary carbon offsetting program. This collaboration builds on Signature’s announcement in October 2017 that Air BP Sterling Card holders can purchase carbon neutral-fuel at more than 100 of Signature's U.S. FBOs through BP Target Neutral.
