New Version of Charter Matrix Airplane Manager To Debut
The flight scheduling software was updated with new built-in security features, simplified menu, and new capabilities.

A decade after launching its successful aircraft scheduling software, Charter Matrix is releasing a new version of the web-based Airplane Manager at NBAA's annual Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference.

New aspects include built-in security based upon the users’ role in the company, a simple menu to navigate, capabilities for text messaging passengers trip information, and the ability for pilots to enter flight logs after takeoff.

“The industry needs a simple platform for small flight departments and this new product was built directly for that market," said Charter Matrix president Terry Cooper. "We listened to our customers and figured out that there were a great [number] of flight departments out there that felt like the products on the market were too big and complex for them, not to mention too expensive." He noted that the new system has been under development for more than a year.
