Jet Aviation will conduct an auction for aircraft parts, components, tooling and other equipment next month as it continues the process of decommissioning its St. Louis MRO and completions center, it announced today. The Zurich-based company acquired the former Midcoast Aviation location at St. Louis Downtown Airport in 2006, and announced last summer that it would shut down the facility as it transitions to a maintenance location operated by sister company Gulfstream.
Potential bidders are asked to contact Jet Aviation by email to register and arrange to receive a formal request for a sealed bids packet, which will be distributed by the end of this month. It will contain complete instructions and auction policies for the bids which must be received by 5 p.m. CST on February 15.
Items on auction, which includes parts and components for business aircraft from Bombardier, Dassault Falcon, and Hawker, can be inspected at the location. Winning bidders will be notified the next day and must arrange payment before items can be collected.
