Dallas-based MRO provider RBR Maintenance has added a Bombardier Challenger service program to offerings at its Love Field facility. Initially, the new program will focus on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of Challenger 601s, 604s and 605s, to be followed by expansion into 300-series Challengers. The FAA-approved Part 145 repair station is able to provide engine, APU and general airframe support, as well as all Chapter 5 inspections, on the 601, 604 and 605, up to and including 192-month inspections.
The program will be headed by 24-year industry veteran Paul Castleberry, who served most recently as director of maintenance for an operator with multiple Challengers. He will be responsible for managing, scheduling and delivering all Challenger repair and inspection projects.
“The addition of a formal Challenger maintenance program at RBR is a natural progression for us,” said company president James Noe.
