CAE-Líder Agees To Sell Sim Hours Throughout Region
Deal follows agreement signed at HeliExpo in Dallas, Texas in March.

Leonardo Helicopters (Chalet 5105) announced during the LABACE show in São Paulo that it has signed an agreement with CAE-Líder (a joint venture between CAE and Líder Aviação) to jointly sell AW139 flight simulator hours across South America.

The AW139 full-flight simulator (FFS), operated by CAE-Líder and jointly developed by CAE and Leonardo Helicopters, has been qualified to Level D by the Brazilian aviation regulator, ANAC. The CAE 3000 Series FFS supports initial, recurrent and offshore oil-and-gas training for AW139 pilots throughout South America.

“We are delighted to cement our relationship with Leonardo through this agreement, leveraging our investment in providing high-quality and safety mission-specific training to both our pilots and customers in the region,” said Eduardo Vaz, Líder Aviação CEO.
