Bombardier Business Aircraft has delivered its first Learjet 75 to a Brazilian customer, the company announced today on the eve of LABACE 2017. The Learjet 75—a longer-range version of the Learjet 45 with Garmin G5000 integrated avionics, redesigned winglets and more efficient Honeywell TFE731-40BR engines—features a flat-floor cabin with an eight-seat double-club configuration.
“We are proud a Brazilian customer selected the Learjet 75 for its performance, smooth ride and private and quiet cabin," said Stephane Leroy, Bombardier Business Aircraft’s vice president of sales in Latin America. “The Learjet 75 is the only business jet in its class to feature a pocket door for reduced noise levels.”
The Bombardier business jet fleet in Latin America currently includes more than 510 Learjets and some 175 Challengers and Globals, the company said. Latin America is the third-largest market for business aviation deliveries, with Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Venezuela accounting for more than 80 percent of the regional fleet.
In June, Bombardier Business Aircraft delivered the 3,000th Bombardier Learjet, which also was the 100th Learjet 75 to be handed over to a customer.
