Bombardier Business Aircraft has expanded its authorized service center agreement with Brazil’s MAGA Aviation to include the long-range Global Express and Global 5000. Based at São Paulo-area Aeroporte de Amarais Campinas, MAGA has been an authorized service facility for the Canadian airframer since 2013, and has approval from Brazil’s civil aviation authority ANAC to provide maintenance for all Learjets and Globals, along with most of the Bombardier Challenger series.
“MAGA is a dynamic young company that has earned the confidence of Bombardier customers in the region in a relatively short span of time,” said Stephane Leroy, the manufacturer’s vice president of sales for Latin America. “This partnership will reinforce Bombardier’s strong OEM support in the region, providing additional maintenance capacity to ensure customers have continued access to the highest quality maintenance and support services right in their own backyard.”
Presently, Bombardier lists 685 of its aircraft as based in South America, including 125 in Brazil alone. MAGA works with the local Bombardier field service representatives to provide integrated support for business aircraft based in or flying through the region and can dispatch a mobile AOG team anywhere in South America to get the aircraft in the air again.
