Scheme Designers Celebrates 20th Anniversary
As part of the celebration, the company is holding a series of educational workshops and a scavenger hunt at AirVenture this year.

Aircraft exterior design company Scheme Designers (Booth 3056) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year at EAA AirVenture. As part of the celebration, the company is holding a series of events at AirVenture that include educational workshops with owners and chief designer Craig Barnett and a scavenger hunt. Scheme Designers will also display a variety of aircraft (business aircraft, owner built, personal aircraft, warbirds and helicopters) with its most notable designs.

Three workshops from Barnett will take place during AirVenture. The first two, which cover “Designing the Perfect Paint Scheme,” will take place on July 25 from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Stage 10 and July 27 from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Stage 11. The final workshop covers “Picking a Paint Shop” and will take place on July 28 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Stage 5. The goal of these workshops is to help customers understand the process of developing their own paint scheme.

At the same time, AirVenture attendees can join the Scheme Designers Scavenger Hunt throughout the week. Participants will search throughout the display area for aircraft with a Scheme Designers paint scheme and special logo sticker. Entry forms, which will be available at the company’s booth, must be returned by 4 p.m. on July 29. The participant with the highest number of points will receive a custom desktop model from Factory Direct Models.
