UK-based aviation services provider Centreline saw record results for June at its FBO at Bristol Airport, following two major events in the area. During the five-day Glastonbury Festival, the location handled many of the international acts headed to the contemporary performing arts showcase on private aircraft. In addition, the UEFA Champions League soccer final held nearby in Cardiff boosted traffic at the Centreline facility, resulting in a 10 percent increase in movements and a 12 percent boost in fuel sales overall for the month.
“I am delighted to report another record month for our FBO, and to see the exciting range of business growing year-on-year,” said Tanya Raynes, CEO of the company, which also provides aircraft charter and management services. “The Centreline team always performs at the highest level of professionalism, be it when providing exceptional customer service to the many A-list celebrities, or handling the 100 pieces of band equipment that comes with managing these kinds of events.”
In addition to June’s business and private aviation traffic, the FBO also handled warbird traffic from the Weston Air Festival in the middle of the month.
