Baker Joins Forces with Contact Aviation on Avionics
The collaboration will bolster Baker's offerings at its Addison, Texas maintenance facility.

Baker Aviation is bolstering its service offerings through a partnership with Contact Aviation to provide ADS-B/C and other avionics installation and repair services. Under the partnership, Contact Aviation will support the services at Baker Aviation’s maintenance facility at Addison Airport north of Dallas.

Headquartered at Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, Baker provides aircraft management and charter services, in addition to maintenance. The Addision facility has specialized in airframe maintenance for a variety of business aircraft.

Waterford, Michigan-based Contact Aviation will provide a background in avionics installation on business jets, turboprops, rotorcraft and piston aircraft, having developed more than 20 avionics supplemental type certificates. The STCs include two for Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 systems.

“We strive to make aircraft more efficient and compliant with all the changes taking place in the avionics industry over the next few years,” said John Shirk, managing director of Contact Aviation. “Now, Baker customers will receive the services they require to meet their future maintenance and avionics upgrade needs.”
