Quest Adds Kodiak Dealer in Central America
Panama-based Kodiak Central America will represent the Kodiak in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.

Quest Aircraft reinforced its presence in Latin America with the appointment of Panama-based Kodiak Central America as an authorized sale representative for the Kodiak turboprop single. Based out of the Panama Pacifico International Airport, Kodiak Central America will represent the Kodiak in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.

Citing its STOL capabilities that will provide access to a range of airfields in the tropical climates of Central America, Kodiak Central America president Raul Arias de la Guardia anticipates the Kodiak will attract interest across multiple industry segments, including private, commercial, business and government use. “We’re looking forward to building momentum for the Kodiak in this region of the world, as we believe it’s a perfect fit,” he said.

The appointment is the latest move by Quest to expand into Central and South America through sales and service partners. It already has such partners in Chile and Brazil. To date, the Kodiak has been certified in Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and Venezuela.
