Ameco Beijing, the Air China and Lufthansa Technik (Booth H316) MRO joint venture, doubled its business jet maintenance workload last year versus 2015, and the company said its “business jets service is growing at a brisk pace.” Workload during the first quarter is already higher than the same period last year, the company said this week at ABACE 2017.

Ameco (Booth P724) recently completed the first 6C check conducted in China on an Airbus ACJ319. The company started offering maintenance and modification services for large business jets in the 1990s and now can provide completions on VIP aircraft as large as the Airbus ACJ330, Boeing BBJ and BBJ747 models.

Ameco’s work on business jets is done in a dedicated hangar, capable of fitting one widebody or three narrowbody aircraft simultaneously. The facility also includes two interior manufacturing workshops.
