AirSprint Enrolls Legacy 450s in Honeywell Mx Plan
Honeywell's Maintenance Service Plan provides support for engines and APUs at some 180 service centers around the world.

Canadian fractional ownership provider AirSprint is enrolling up to 12 of its Embraer Legacy 450s in Honeywell’s maintenance service plan (MSP) covering engines and auxiliary power units under an agreement announced this week. The plan, which celebrated 40 years of operation last year, provides the AirSprint fleet with inspections, upgrades and global support.

“As a fractional aircraft ownership business, our focus is on providing our fractional owners with a safe, consistent, competitive and affordable private aviation experience,” said James Elian, president and COO of Calgary-based AirSprint. “A big part of achieving that goal is making smart investments in the health and maintenance of our fleet. The purchase of our Legacy 450s was a strategic and substantial investment, and Honeywell’s Maintenance Service Plan ensures that we have the global experience and support to manage maintenance issues and keep our planes flying and our fractional owners happy.”

According to Honeywell, MSP supports approximately 75 percent of business aircraft that use Honeywell engines or APUs. This includes the HTF7500E turbofan engine and 36-150 APU for the Legacy 450.
